Eradicure-Alliance provide the best solutions to basement and below ground level waterproofing.
A successful basement conversion should add several, or even many times the cost, to the value of your property and in the meantime add extra living space. This would also work out cheaper and be less stressful than uprooting and moving house.
Eradicure-Alliance install the following basement waterproofing systems:
Our basement waterproofing Surveyors are specialists who will provide you with the correct waterproofing system to suit your needs. Identification of structural integrity and high or perched water tables is critical in ascertaining the system to be installed. Soil strata, characteristics, basement construction and external ground levels are all areas which need evaluation. Get the wrong specifications and instead of a nice dry usable extra room you could end up with a damp or even submerged basement.
We carry out the complete basement waterproofing job, including all preparation and finishing, to a high standard.
If you have a flooded basement, or even localised sitting water, this will be removed by our Company prior to our specialist work.
All of our basement waterproofing designs are in compliance with the British Standard for the protection of structures against ground water BS8102 2009.

Sika Render Structural Basement WaterproofingWith property values rising the conversion of a basement to add extra living space can make good economic sense as conversion costs a fraction of the value of the finished enlarged property. It can also enhance the feel of the property.
The Sika Render Structural Waterproofing system is designed to keep water ingress at bay in basements or on any wet walls where there are high external ground levels. It is a waterproofing barrier applied to the structure. Eradicure-Alliance install the complete Sika system from specialist Sika plastering on the walls to installing waterproof Sika floors. We also carry out associated work like wall to floor junction repairs and supply suitable fixings so that the integrity of the structure is not compromised. We use many of the Sika products during these processes like sika flex, sikadur, sikafloor and combiflex.
Sika has been used on properties for many years. It is constantly improving with modern advances in technology which help keep Eradicure-Alliance ahead in the industry.
Tanking is another term commonly used for Structural Waterproofing.

Structural Cavity Drain Membrane Basement Waterproofing SystemThe Structural Waterproofing Cavity Drain Membrane system is designed for basements where there is a lot of external water pressure and basements are prone to flooding.
The concept of this system is that when water ingress penetrates the area the water drops down behind the membrane, flows into drainage channels and is then pumped out by a sump pump. The complete system manages the ingress of water leaving you a structurally integral watertight area. All of these components are essential to enable the system to work effectively.
Damp Proof Membranes are fixed to the basement walls and floors using our specialist fixings. The membrane should not be left exposed as damage will occur, so it is essential to install the correct floor and wall coverings to suit the requirement. Nearly all Cavity Drain Structural Waterproofing systems require installation of a sump pump to prevent a build up of water behind the membrane. A submersible sump pump is used and this is installed below the floor membrane. These pumps must be maintained by regular servicing as failure could be catastrophic. A back up sump pump is also normally recommended.
External drain systems can be overhauled by Eradicure-Alliance, if it becomes necessary, to cope with the excess of water that may be generated. Contact us to arrange for our Specialist Surveyor to carry out an inspection of your property.
